The portfolio for Shawn's sculpture — steel blowtorched into molten, chance-driven forms — where the site itself is generative: every page load composes a unique molten-steel canvas from a random seed. Includes Rust Garden, a live piece that rusts in real time, driven by the clock.
The work is steel, rubber, tar, glass, and compressed rusted paper — material pushed until chance takes over. A conventional portfolio would betray that, so the site embodies it instead: a generative canvas engine composes a new molten-steel ground on every load, and no two visitors see the same site. Rust Garden goes further — a piece that exists only in time, its oxidation driven by the actual calendar, replaying days, weeks, and seasons for whoever is watching. No accounts, no server, no tracking. Just a browser doing something it wasn't obviously built for.
