Erika Simon Jewelry
A storefront where every piece exists exactly once — so the software is not allowed to be wrong.

A premium storefront, travel gallery, and jewelry journal for metalsmith Erika Simon, with a mobile Studio she runs from her phone. Every piece is one of a kind: a missed inventory update isn't a bookkeeping error, it's selling something that no longer exists. The system is built around that fact.
Most e-commerce failure modes are annoying. This one is unforgivable: sell a one-of-a-kind piece twice and you've taken money for an object that cannot be made again. So the design center of this storefront isn't the gallery (though it's beautiful) — it's inventory truth. The payment webhook's "sold" flip is the moment of record, and checkout is fail-closed: if the system cannot verify the catalog it's selling from, it refuses the sale rather than risk it. A storage hiccup produces an apology, never a double-sell.
Around that core: a live Stripe integration proven with a real card end to end, an admin Studio designed for a phone because that's where the artist actually is, AI-assisted piece descriptions, and a journal that makes the site a living document of the work rather than a static shop.
